The days here in Dracula's Castle have been tiresome. It had been almost a fortnight before I found this safe room. Are these rooms all that remain of Alucard's mother? Had her love for her son permeated the evil that is this castle? What a frightening and horrible place for a woman to give birth in. Had Dracula protected her? Or had he let the creatures roaming the halls torment her?

These are the thoughts that have been on my mind these past few days. Why, I do not know. Perhaps it is the castle itself that is putting these thoughts into my mind? No matter, the sooner I destroy Dracula the sooner life will return to normal.
